Avi went to the doctor this week. (A month late for his 15 month well baby visit.) He is now almost 34 inches long (97th percentile) and 27 pounds (76th percentile). He is a fast runner, and is now able to climb furniture like a spider monkey. He even moves chairs and stools to get to what he wants sometimes. Other times he just shrieks and points until I get the message. He is regularly using 8-10 words, other than mama and dada. He is also starting to say the phrase "all done" (sounds like ah-duh), which is apparently a big milestone! When he talks now, he mimics what you say to him, including the phrasing and tone. So his gibberish really sounds like sentences!
Ex 1: Gana car car? (Go in the car?)
Ex 2: Ma ma ma ma na NAAAAAAH CARRRRRR AAAAAAAAAAH!!!! (Mom, get off me!! I'm not getting in this carseat! #*$%#$%@!!!!)
He's our angel! :) But like always, he balances out the tantrums with the sweetest demonstrations of affection. It's easy to get him to smile and laugh. And as long as you don't take away his toy stroller, he's a pretty relaxed guy.
If by relaxed you mean constantly moving, running, grabbing, climbing, breaking, throwing toys in the toilet (yeah we just started that), opening/closing doors, and playing pranks on you and then laughing uproariously.
Life will never be boring with our little (big) Avi Bear!
