Quite A Day!

Avi's been struggling through a bad cold, and had a rough night last night.  He woke up pretty angry and sad, but Motrin helped a lot.  (Another canine, maybe?)  Since his morning nap, he's had a great day!  He discovered soccer and tennis in the past two days, and he's in love with both.  He really enjoys watching the kids play them at the park.  Today he tried to steal every tennis, soccer, and basketball he could find!  He's been very helpful lately though, to make up for his klepto ways.  He will bring you almost anything you ask for, and he really seems to understand a lot!  Without pointing, you can ask him for a phone, shoe, sock, book, car, teddy, cup, or milk.  And he'll go find it and bring it to you.  He'll also play piano upon request, but he expects you to applaud and shout "Bravo!" or he'll holler at you and clap instead.  :)

He's also got another new word- "shiz" for shoes!  He's used it multiple times today!  He pointed at a duck on Sesame Street and said "ducky" too, but that one is a little iffy...

So now that's: shoes (shiz), car, cluck (about 50% of the time, when you point to a chicken and say it first), dog (dah), teddy, dada, mama, yah (for yes, but only sometimes), and nah nah nah for no (pretty regularly now).  Not bad for 14 months!

Here he is, dancing with daddy before bed.  He LOVES when daddy plays the guitar.
