This morning, Avi gave Zach a cool Father's Day present! His first tooth! I know, I know...we thought he had a tooth last month. But the doc told us that it was just a callous from chewing on stuff so much. (I know, WEIRD!) But this one's legit- it's sharp, and sticking out!
Avi is also rocking back and forth on all fours now, and lurching forward. He'll be crawling by the end of the week, maybe? This is a double-edged sword, but still very exciting!
And finally, we're hearing consonants! It took a month of shrieking, with long vowel sounds and strange intonations. Plus about a zillion raspberries. But Avi is now whispering, "p-p-p-p, b-b-b-b, m-m-m-m, w-w-w-w, and ya-ya-ya-ya!" Not necessarily in that order.
What a cutie!
